Olivers Chimney Sweep - Absolutely the best service ...
Oliver's has been a steady and reliable source of support for my woodstove needs over the years. Most recently, I thought I had a major problem and Tyler came over and found there was nothing wrong at all and threw in a little maintenance for me...all gratis. I am very appreciative of that human touch as well as the expertise I have found from the people I have dealt with at Oliver's.
Professional customer service. Easily adapted to my scheduling changes and were very responsive via email or phone. On site technicians were professional and took extra measures to ensure my new cabinetry was not damaged. Would definitely recommend.
Polite and informed workers. We left them alone to do their work and returned at the appointed time to have it next to finished. They cleaned up after themselves and we are happy with the results.

I can't recommend Oliver's too highly. They've been my 'go-to' since 2009 for anything to do with my chimney or wood stove. Always pleasant, polite, efficient and knowledgeable
They showed me flaws in my wood stove that hinders the smoke suction - 1 of 2 fixed in altering pipe from a 45degree bend to 60degree into the wall/chimney. Works so much better now - much less smoke coming out the door. The 2nd is the iron insert that over time got bent upwards and also hinders the smoke from exiting. Expensive so not doing this now, the do offer sourcing & installing it however.

We recently purchased a home where Olivers had installed a wood stove 5 years earlier. A minor issue arose on inspection over a 1/2 inch discrepancy on the chimney box related to the weird pitch of our roof. We contacted Oliver's and they took complete ownership of the issue. Richard Oliver came out himself and re installed the chimney to make the small adjustment at no charge, right in the middle of his busy season. As a business owner, Richard stands behind their work, even for new owners 5 years later, and was great to deal with. That is something that matters, especially these days when everything is so expensive. We will use Olivers for future maintenance and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Richard is one of the nicest, most professional contractors I have met in the Comox Valley. He arrived on time, cleaned the chimney faster than I have ever seen, and left the area of the wood stove cleaner than when he started. I would(and have) recommend this company to anyone.
